Insurance giant Texas Mutual built their new 450K SF headquarters adjacent to some of the best amenities in Austin’s dynamic Mueller neighborhood. We worked with the interiors team from Studio 8 and the client’s facilities group to program and design a sign system and graphics collection for the office and attached parking structure.

Signage and wayfinding for a new HQ

The interior signage aesthetic complements the warm and professional workplace palette by Studio 8. Design details were also driven by a mindfulness of fabrication cost and long-term upkeep.

The regulatory and wayfinding signage on and within the multi-user garage addresses the user experience in transition from the 9-level garage into the 4-level interior. Vehicular- and pedestrian-scale signage directs short term parkers heading to one of the project's ground-floor retail destinations.

A changeable display of some of TMI’s best-known clients greets visitors near the lobby. We brought a touch of folly to the project at the “TAC Bar” — the technical service center for employees with computer woes.
