The Bell District

Cedar Park’s new back yard

This 54-acre mixed-use district is transforming a stretch of Bell Boulevard into something the city of Cedar Park has never really had: a central place to gather, play, and connect. Anchored by the new Cedar Park Library by Lake | Flato and a shady park filled with live oaks and a whimsical playscape by Monstrum, the Bell District will grow to include homes, shops, and offices. Our second engagement with developer RedLeaf Properties delivered a cohesive visual language that provides a warm welcome to visitors in this exciting new Central Texas destination.

It begins with brand

We joined the project to design signage and wayfinding — but first evolved the original identity into a more timeless brand system. The refined wordmark brings out the easy charm of a Main Street, while the color palette nods to the site’s greenspace and trees.

As the library opened and the Texas Farmer’s Market made a move to Bell, we refreshed the website to keep pace with what’s happening on the ground.

A full signage and wayfinding program is on the way, including entry monuments, vehicular signage, and a pedestrian sign system that flows into the park and trails beyond.
