Taking downtown luxury to southwest Austin

A city-within-a-city in southwest Austin, Westlake Hills is known for its upscale single-family homes and highly rated school system. Westerly is one of the area's rare multifamily projects, and was the first to offer downtown-style finishes and amenities.

A nod to Sunset magazine

The Westerly name conveys the project's location with a low-key feel for a sophisticated audience. The visual identity and marketing materials continue this understated approach with warm imagery, elegant typography, and a geometric monogram.

The result offers subtle echos of Southern Californian style while also celebrating the natural warmth of the site, the building's architectural vocabulary, and the project's Hill Country views.

Signage that blends warmth and luxury

We took inspiration from the logo's geometric monogram as we created signage and decorative elements throughout the project. By mixing clean lines and simple iconography with the warmth of unpainted wood, we developed a look that is both modern and inviting, and one that is simultaneously upscale and unpretentious.

The distinctive brand position and associated visual identity we created for Westerly helped to establish the project as a unique offering in this highly desirable submarket. For the owner, the result was a high level of tenant traffic, a fast lease-up, and a successful sale of the project just months after completion.
