A Second Phase for UT Dallas’ Athenaeum
New performing arts center by Morphosis on the horizon
Asterisk is proud to continue our collaboration with Morphosis, providing signage, wayfinding, and donor recognition design services for the second phase of the UT Dallas Athenaeum Arts and Performance Complex. This phase will feature a 680-seat performance hall and music education facilities, further establishing the Athenaeum as a cornerstone for arts and cultural engagement.
The design of the second phase will complement the first — the Crow Museum of Asian Art, which opened in fall 2024 — through its cohesive architectural language and thoughtful integration into the 12-acre cultural district. Together, these projects will create a vibrant destination for students, faculty, and the north Texas community, supporting the university’s mission to inspire creativity and learning through the arts. Phase 2 is currently under construction and scheduled to open in fall 2026.
