More to love in San Antonio

Steps away from San Antonio's beloved Pearl District, Broadway East San Antonio (BESA) will offer area residents and visitors more to love. At full build-out, the 15-acre infill development will include a curated collection of national brand retail and restaurants, a hotel, and residential offerings alongside vibrant public spaces and programmed experiences. Inspired by geometric forms and textured materials by architects KPF, we defined the project’s brand messaging, visual identity system, and marketing assets that connect San Antonio’s traditions with its bright future.

Where bold meets refined

As a host to national and global retail brands — many in the luxury category — the visual identity program moves easily from quiet restraint to more dynamic expressions. Custom typography takes cues from the geometry and detailing of tile mosaics in a system designed for horizontal, stacked, and vertical formats.

An understated black and tan palette allows the retail tenants to take the visual lead when needed. A key architectural feature — dramatically beveled window niches clad in jewel-toned tiles — inspires a flexible framing device, connecting marketing materials and site signage.

A look at what’s to come

A splash website and digital brochure described the project vision for potential retail tenants, development partners, and the public. Poetic architectural sketches, photography, and messaging combine to create a compelling vision for what’s next for this beautiful new San Antonio destination.
